Basic project information
International Project
Each Community School develops in its own way because schools are organic structures, shaped by the enthusiasm of their staff, the vision of its leadership and the needs of the local community. Even so, we believe that all Community Schools share common key characteristics.
The overall goal of international project Quality Development of Community Schools: Measuring the Impact of International Standards is to improve the quality of the community schools in the countries of Eastern, Central, South East Europe, Western Europe, Russia and Asia through implementing the International Standards for Community Schools: Self- Assessment Tool and measuring their impact on the community school development by:
- Providing the self-assessment tool (International Standards for Community Schools) and strategic support to consultants where community schools have already been developed so that they can improve the quality of the community schools in their own countries.
- Evaluation of the impact of the International Standards for Community Schools Self- Assessment Tool on the quality of the community schools and community development.
Duration of the Project: February, 2009 – June, 2011.
